About Amelie
Hi, I’m Amelie. I have a degree in Biomedical Science and am currently studying for a Master’s in Genomic Medicine. As someone with dyslexia who initially struggled at school, I understand how difficult it can be when concepts don’t quite click. That’s why I’m determined to support others who may be struggling or are not yet where they want to be academically. I believe learning should be engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

I believe learning should be engaging and adapted to each student’s needs. As someone with dyslexia, I understand how difficult it can be when concepts do not click, which is why I have developed and tested various learning techniques to make biology and chemistry easier to grasp. I use visual methods like mind maps, interactive PowerPoints and analogies to break down complex topics in a way that makes sense. My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to your learning style. Whether you need help with exam preparation, specific topics, or just want to build confidence, I will adjust my approach to fit what works best for you. I have experience as a nursery assistant and have volunteered teaching English abroad, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability and ability to explain concepts clearly. I know that everyone learns differently and my goal is to make Biology less intimidating by using creative methods suited to you. With a biology and chemistry A level and a degree in Biomedical Sciences, I bring both academic expertise and a personal understanding of learning challenges. I want to help you not only improve your grades but also genuinely understand and enjoy the subject.
