I have just finished my second year at Durham University studying biology. Having recently undertaken the GCSE and A-level biology exams, I believe I can provide advice on how to gain marks by hitting the specifications of the mark schemes. Biology is known for its tedious focus on specific wording in exams, I can help ensure students pick up good habits in their use of key words and structure in their answers.
I believe that students must enjoy their subjects in order to absorb the information. Therefore, I will explain the material by putting it into real-world context, and show why a deeper understanding of biological concepts is needed for research into some of the biggest issues faced by the world today, COVID19 being a prime example.
I plan dynamic and stimulating lessons, balancing learning and memorisation of new material, and applying the material in exam-style questions. We will start with the areas you are struggling with and go from there.

Details
I offer in-person and online tutoring. I can travel to anywhere in County Durham and some areas of Northumberland. I charge slightly more for in-person tutoring to account for the cost of travel.
Packs of lessons reduce the price to £10/hour.
