About Romy
I am currently working as a Research Technician at the University of Auckland focusing on a drug development project for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes under the direction of Professor Garth Cooper. I have a Master’s in Applied Science with merit in Molecular Biotechnology from Otago University and a Master’s degree with honours in Biology.
I have six years of relevant experience working in New Zealand and internationally. I have built strong communication and interpersonal skills by working in different environments with people from diverse backgrounds and am fluent in both Spanish and German (as well as English).
