About Malika
I am Malika Rattan, a final-year Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence student at Birmingham City University. After spending one year as a Data Scientist at BMW Engine Plant, I now work part-time there while completing my degree. I genuinely enjoy teaching and want to share my passion for coding, Python, and maths with others. My mix of real industry experience and time leading coding workshops for children makes me well-placed to help students of all ages and levels build confidence and succeed.

As a final-year Computer Science with AI student at Birmingham City University and a part-time Data Scientist at BMW Engine Plant after spending one year there, I teach coding, Python, and maths with a practical, hands-on approach. Lessons are 60 minutes long and fully personalised to each student’s level and goals. I break down complex topics into simple steps, use real-world examples from my industry experience, and adapt my teaching for GCSE, A-Level, and beginners of all ages. My goal is to build confidence and make learning enjoyable.
