About Sage
With 8 years of professional experience and around 150 students mentored successfully, I am passionate about helping learners develop both technical skill and musical expression through flute training. I teach all levels using a structured and student-centred approach.
My lessons focus on breath management, tone production, articulation control, finger agility, and rhythmic accuracy. I gradually introduce advanced repertoire and expressive phrasing as students gain confidence. I adapt my teaching style to match different learning patterns, ensuring clarity and comfort in every session.
I provide constructive feedback and track progress regularly to maintain steady improvement. One of my strongest qualities is motivating students to stay disciplined while enjoying the learning process. My mission is to nurture confident, skilled, and expressive flute musicians.

My flute teaching methodology focuses on building a strong technical foundation while nurturing musical expression. I adapt lessons according to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, ensuring steady and enjoyable progress.
I begin with posture alignment, breathing techniques, embouchure formation, and tone development. Once students master the basics, I introduce finger exercises, scales, articulation, rhythm drills, and expressive techniques such as phrasing and dynamics.
Alongside practical flute instruction, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm comprehension. This approach ensures that students develop both technical proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of music.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. Collaboration is encouraged through shared repertoire selection, goal-setting, and interactive discussions.
I maintain a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is to develop confident, disciplined, and expressive flute musicians who enjoy a lifelong musical journey.
