About Nadia

Bona fide social science geek, well-versed In sociology, political science, psychology, and anthropology. M.A.s in both Sociology and International Studies. Extensive graduate-level coursework in Psychology. I spent far more time in graduate school than anyone should, but I excel in translating English to geek and geek to English.

About the lesson

My teaching method is highly interactive. People learn most by doing. Of course I explain and clarify things as needed, but the best learning comes from discussion and carefully structured exercises. You’ll learn largely by doing. This method increases retention. Most teachers primarily employ the lecture method even though it’s the LEAST effective teaching method. I structure my class knowing that the average attention span is about 15-30 seconds.
