About Tiana

Hello, my name is Tiana and I am a 16 year old post-16 student, I study both English language and literature for my A levels. During my GCSEs, I passed both subjects with a solid 7, I do have a passion for reading and writing alongside interpreting texts and language styles. My lifelong love for reading and creative writing is exactly what inspired me to start tutoring, even as a young child I always had my head stuck in books and writing my own stories. I want to teach because I remember what it feels like to navigate primary school as somebody who suffers with anxiety, and I want to make that learning journey exciting, rewarding, and stress-free for your child learning about English. I love adapting to different learning styles with different people, especially young children who are figuring out their passions and abilities in school. Thank you for reading!

About the lesson

I am a 16-year-old A-Level student studying both English Language and Literature, bringing fresh schooling knowledge and enthusiasm to my online tutoring. I offer engaging, patient, and highly personalised one-to-one English lessons, specifically for primary school children in Key Stage 2. Because I am currently immersed in my own studies, I understand how to break down complex grammar, reading comprehension, and creative writing into fun, easy steps. My goal is to build your child's confidence, encourage a genuine love for reading and writing, and fully support them with their primary school curriculum in a friendly virtual environment. I understand how difficult it can be to learn English, especially in a class full of other children, but I am here to give my full attention to your child and allow them to learn in an environment that’s not overwhelming to them, where they feel they can speak freely to me about any questions or worries regarding education. The sessions on average will last around two hours, every Saturday or Sunday (You may also book both days) 5pm-7pm to fit around any day activities the child and you may have, as well as myself. If you need any further flexibility please contact me and let me know, I will see if I can bend my timetable to fit you in!
