About Archanaa
Hey there! I’m Archanaa — an English Literature major at University of Malaya and a big believer that learning English should be fun, not stressful. Teaching has always been something I’m passionate about, and I love helping kids build strong foundations in English while actually enjoying the process.
I get that every child learns differently, so I make sure to mix things up with interactive, creative lessons tailored to each student. Think fun storytelling, grammar games, guided reading, and writing activities — no boring textbook-only sessions here!
Each lesson runs for about an hour and focuses on key skills like reading comprehension, vocabulary, speaking confidently, and writing well. More than just teaching English, I aim to help students feel good about themselves, stay motivated, and be proud of their progress.
I mainly offer online lessons for primary school kids aged 7 to 12, and with my background in English Literature plus hands-on tutoring experience, I’m all about creating a supportive, positive space for young learners to grow.

As an English Literature degree student, I’ve seen how important it is for young learners to feel confident in expressing themselves and truly connect with the language — and that’s exactly what I aim to offer in my lessons. A typical lesson includes:
1. A warm-up activity to ease into the session and recap previous topics.
2. Focused skill-building exercises based on areas like grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, speaking, or writing.
3. Interactive activities such as storytelling, discussions, games, or role-playing to make concepts memorable and meaningful.
4. Guided practice and feedback where students can apply what they’ve learned with my support.
5. A quick review and progress check at the end to reinforce key points and build confidence for the next lesson.
