About Mary
I am a Yoruba woman who is a graduate and I currently teach Yoruba and Science in elementary school. I am passionate about helping children, especially those in the diaspora, understand the Yoruba language, most especially the use of sounds, as Yoruba is a tonal language.

I use storytelling, syllables and Yoruba ami Ohun" sounds" to teach my learners. I also teach them the cultures, songs and values of Yoruba land. As a Yoruba teacher who is an impact maker, I use Yoruba Akewi, Alawiye to teach my students for better understanding.
