About Sofia
Hi! My name is SOFIA OROZCO, and I’m a proud Colombian-American with a passion for teaching and empowering young minds. I’m fluent in both Spanish and English, and I love sharing the beauty of the Spanish language and Latin culture with children in fun, engaging ways. With years of experience working with kids through leadership roles, tutoring, and educational programs, I know how to keep lessons playful, age-appropriate, and effective. My Spanish lessons are designed to introduce young learners to the Spanish language in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate way. I use songs, games, storytelling, visual aids, and hands-on activities to create a playful and engaging environment where children feel excited to learn and speak Spanish.
Each lesson focuses on building vocabulary, basic phrases, pronunciation, and listening skills, while also incorporating elements of Latin American and Spanish culture. Whether we’re learning colors, numbers, greetings, or animal names, I make sure every child participates, practices, and feels successful.
I’m patient, energetic, and experienced in working with young children. My goal is to help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for language learning. With consistent practice and encouragement, your child will begin to understand and use Spanish in everyday situations — all while having fun!
