About Tomás
I was born and raised in Colombia. I graduated from an American school (El Camino Academy) where I tutored other students in whichever class they needed, that included teaching Spanish. In school all of my teachers were American, mainly from the Chicago area. They had a very personalized teaching method; I graduated in a class of only 18 students. Because of that, I had very close relationships with my teachers and had the chance to teach, interpret, and translate Spanish for them; but not only for them but also for missionary groups that have come to Colombia to spread the gospel. That is why I am very much prepared to teach Spanish to English speakers.

I use reading, writing, and speaking to teach. I give my students reading and writing material so that in class we can focus on the speaking part. The intensity of my classes depends on how passionately the student wants to reach his or her goals.
