About Leandro
Aside from teaching for the past three years, my professional experience includes more than ten years as a performing musician, both as a soloist and as a member of small and large ensembles.
I have worked with more than twenty students of all ages, many of them approved for youth orchestras and summer programs.

I'm very passionate about teaching and have been doing it for the past three years in my private studio and more recently as a sectional teacher at Sistema Winnipeg.
I've recently received my M.Mus degree from the University of Manitoba, where I studied with Dr Minna Chung, co-author of the internationally published book "Cellomind."
I'm a follower of the constructivist and active learning schools of teaching, and a strong believer in building the student's knowledge from previous relatable experiences.
