About Emerson
My name is Emerson, I"ve been practicing the drums since I was 11 years old and I have a degree in music from the Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado. Since then, I have been working as a teacher in music schools and colleges, acting as a drummer and percussionist in orchestras and symphonic groups and developing my own artistic career through authorial music projects. If interested, we can schedule a lesson and I can show some of my work.

In the lessons, we'll cover the basics of brazilian rhythms as well as trying to develop the "feel" which is so important to our music. I really love samba, bossa, baião, maracatu, frevo and all of the other styles of music present in this beautyful and crazy country. And with time, I hope you do too.
