About Kimberly
As a professional educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching, my mission is to provide more than just answers—I provide understanding. In my experience as a teacher and testing proctor, I have seen firsthand how the right approach can turn a student's frustration into a 'lightbulb moment.'
I believe that academic success is built on a foundation of confidence and clarity. My role is to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and a student’s unique learning style. By combining my background in Education and Learning with my ESOL certification, I am uniquely equipped to break down complex mathematical language into simple, logical steps.
Parents and students can expect a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and personalized care. I don’t just teach math; I teach the strategies and critical thinking skills that help students succeed across all subjects.

Professional Educator | Master of Arts in Teaching | K-8 Math Specialist
Hello! I’m a dedicated educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching and a B.A. in Education and Learning. Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher and testing proctor, which gives me a unique, "front-row seat" to the specific challenges students face in today’s classrooms.
I specialize in Elementary and Middle School Math (K-8). My goal is to transform "math anxiety" into "math confidence" by breaking down complex concepts into manageable, logical steps.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in differentiation—the idea that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' way to learn math. With a Master’s degree and experience in the classroom, I’ve learned that if a student doesn't understand a concept, it’s rarely a lack of ability; it’s usually just a 'language barrier' between the textbook and the student.
I use a scaffolded approach: we start with what the student does know to build confidence, then slowly introduce new layers of complexity. I utilize visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving to ensure the 'why' behind the math is clear before we focus on the 'how'.
