About Francesca
Hi, I'm Francesca, an approachable and supportive English tutor based in Whiteley, with a passion for helping students build confidence and genuinely enjoy learning. I want to teach because I know how essential the right encouragement and support is to a student's confidence and therefore their ability to grow. As a university student currently, I can confidently say that I understand how the mark schemes work, how to revise efficiently, and how to stay on top of stressful times. I am an accomplished student, with an average of A* through school and college. I understand what it is like to struggle, and am keen to pass my knowledge on to encourage a healthy relationship with academics. I am very hard working, highly adaptive and have excelling communication abilities, making it so I am sure that I can assist any student, at any level of learning.

My lessons are personalised to each student, tailoring to specific needs and learning approaches and a focus on a positive outlook on academic growth and a thirst for knowledge. I improve grades through clear explanation and talking through exam techniques with interactive discussions and practice questions.
I have a wide range of abstract revision strategies that I have found useful for myself and have taken the time to learn, as I believe the method of revision is the key in retaining information.
I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel completely at ease to ask questions and learn at their own pace, whether they are struggling with the basics or striving for top grades!
