I am an American, who recently relocated to Nigeria. I've recently obtained my call to the Bar of England and Wales, where I am a Barrister (non-practicing). I also hold an advanced law degree in International human rights law (LLM) ( UK) and a first degree in philosophy & political science (US).

As it relates to tutelage; I have taught children from infancy to 14 years of age. My experience has exclusively been in high profile/net worth families all over the world. My experience is as follows:
1. SAT tutor (US University entrance exam)
2. Academic tutor (core subjects, secondary/ middle/ elementary)
2. Reading coach (Elementary)
3. Exam prep
4. Advanced tuition (Get the child to surpass present grade)

I intend to eventually open up my own early literacy school here in Nigeria, utilising a curriculum that has taken twelve years to design.

My primary focus of instruction is early literacy. It is something I am deeply passionate about, and which excites me. I believe that children are born geniuses, but their minds must be stimulated in order to reach maximum capacity.

Bachelors - philosophy & political science
LLM/MA- International human rights law
Bar school- Barrister in England & Wales

Lessons can be either 2 hours or a block of 4 hrs maximum (please note that this will include appropriate breaks, to keep your child engaged).

Concurrent sibling instruction is possible, where children are the same age or at similar grade levels (also depends on the temperament of the child/children)

Targeted age:
2yrs-7yrs

Primary objective:
-reading fluency
-reading comprehension
-fostering a culture of learning and academic exploration

Homework help will of course utilise material from the child's school.

Where reading/comprehension or general tutoring is needed, I will provide the lessons and materials. This might include online material (I have a mac and IPAD for children's use.) I also write individualised books to engage very young readers, and create my own flashcards.
