About Georgie
I am a passionate educator with a strong personal relationship with the deaf community and I have an enthusiasm for promoting BSL as a method of communication amongst all. I have worked in education for 10 years across various subject areas and have always had a love for languages and teaching. I have experience working with young children, teenagers and adults, fostering an educational environment which is tailored to my learners by differentiating and adapting teaching styles to achieve the best outcomes. My focus in lessons is on training learners to be effective communicators, with emphasis on learning by doing.

Everyday British Sign Language for beginners who would like to be able to communicate confidently with the deaf community. Build vocabulary, understanding of grammar and the linguistics of BSL, grow your confidence and excellent communication skills. Taught in a dynamic, non-traditional format; conversational with some lessons taught in total immersion (no voice). I have experience working with young children, teenagers and adults, fostering an educational environment which is tailored to my learners by differentiating and adapting teaching styles to achieve the best outcomes. My focus in lessons is on training learners to be effective communicators, with emphasis on learning by doing.
