About Adeleke
Hello, my name is Adeleke Oyebola, and I am a Financial Mathematics Undergraduate at The University of Nottingham. As a student, I always asked myself, “When will this be useful?” Studying Financial Mathematics has allowed me to understand and appreciate the beauty of Mathematics in the real world, and my goal is to not only educate, but to show others that what they are learning will help them develop skills which can be used across their lifetime.
I have experience across all age ranges, having done a work experience placement in a primary school, as well as interning within a Mathematics Department in a Secondary and Sixth Form College. Through these experiences, I have learnt first-hand how to engage with students, and how to present a lesson in an effective manner.

I believe the key to their success, has been the personal element. Tailoring my lessons to their specific needs and learning styles has allowed the students to get the most out of their lessons. This may mean a more gamified style lesson for one student, or a more discussion style for another. Others may prefer to simply go through solutions to example questions, whereas others desire to have a more traditional classroom-style lesson.
