About Bethan
I am a Maths student studying at third-year degree level. I have a degree in Illustration and A'levels in Maths, art, economics and history.
My strengths are STEM subjects, particularly Maths and Physics.
I have studied for many years and hope to encourage inspiration and confidence in students that may be finding STEM subjects overwhelming and inaccessible.

Relaxed sessions. Enabling students to discuss problem areas and tackle homework problems at their own speed.
I'm happy to be flexible with session times depending on availability but I recommend 30 min minimum and no longer than 2 hours online.
I aim to work with students' own learning styles. I believe subject delivery can be the biggest obstacle in classroom learning and that one to one discussions and pinpointing individual learning is the key to success and future study capability.
My strengths are predominately in maths-based subjects.
I am currently studying my Maths degree - third-year modules, and have studied some physics and astronomy modules at degree level as well. I hold a degree in Illustration, arts and Media and my Alevels were Maths Art, Economics and History.
If I am able to help in other subject areas I am happy to.
I have worked with primary school children as a volunteer classroom assistant and as a breakfast/after school club supervisor, my tutor experience has come from Holding training sessions for staff at various professional positions and helping friends and family with subjects that they have struggled with or need additional support with. I hope that my sessions will be accessible and inspire students to embrace and enjoy stem subjects.
