About Asher
I am a BTEC Level 3 Computing graduate from Ada (National College for Digital Skills) and currently studying Zoology at university. With experience leading primary computing workshops and secondary school coding enrichment sessions, I specialise in making technical subjects engaging, accessible, and practical for all types of learners.
As an autistic educator, I have a personal understanding of neurodiversity and excel at adapting my style for SEN students who benefit from tailored, low-pressure, and structured teaching. Beyond tech, I hold Advanced First Aid, Level 2 Mental Health First Aid, and Child Safeguarding certifications. Whether preparing a student for GCSE exams or building everyday digital confidence, I bring patience, clear communication, and professional reliability to every session.

My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex, abstract concepts such as algorithms, pseudocode, system architecture, and core IT skills into clear, digestible steps. As an autistic tutor who has taught primary pupils at Ada College and led secondary coding enrichment at The Archer Academy, I bring lived experience and deep understanding to working with neurodivergent (SEN) students, adapting lessons to their unique learning styles and sensory preferences.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are tailored for secondary students preparing for GCSE Computer Science exams, learners seeking general computing skills, or SEN pupils who thrive with a customised, patient approach.
I combine interactive problem-solving, live Python coding, and practical walkthroughs to build confidence and mastery. As a BTEC Level 3 Computing graduate and certified Safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid officer, I offer a structured, safe, and highly supportive learning environment.
