About Jon
I have a degree in English Literature, an Advanced Diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language and a certificate in Business English Teaching from the Royal Society of Arts.
In 2014, I was awarded first place in the 'Business English UK Excellence in Business English Teaching' award.
I have extensive experience in language teaching, cross-cultural training, virtual team-building training and both group and one-to-one training. I love the variety of what I do and meeting new people from across the world is a constant delight.

I can offer classes from Elementary level to Advanced, either in general language or any specific areas of business English communication. In online class sessions, effective use of time is essential, so I always include pre-session input where possible in order for the client to maximise interaction with me and generate significant output for themselves. Towards the end of the session, there is always time allocated for structured language, vocabulary and pronunciation feedback. This feedback can then be sent on to the client post-session. Regarding methodology - positive interaction, a dose of good humour, a clear focus and a pleasurable and useful learning experience are my aims. I think I achieve them!
