About Hussein
I am writing this letter to show my interest in joining your team. I feel my skills and experiences align with your principles and requirements. I am excited to get involved with your team as I believe my skills and experiences will allow me to excel in your company and have a positive impact.
My versatile occupational and extra-curricular background has allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set which will be essential to succeed in the workplace. I have over 5 years of experience as a contact centre representative in the LibanPost company and 1 year of experience as an Insurance consultant with Allianz . As part of these roles I was involved in both telesales and in person consulting, promoting the company services to customers. This required me to develop strong marketing, customer service and interpersonal skills which I strengthened over the years with my experience. I was also promoted to work within the LibanPost headquarters where I dealt with customer complaints and enquires, developing my problem-solving skills and ability to deal with challenging situations. These transferable skills are essential to succeed within the workplace and I hope to further strengthen and develop my skills as part of my future roles.
I also have extensive experience within the Hotel and hospitality sector. I have worked in the Intercontinental Hotel Group including the Crown Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Movenpick and Rotana Hotel in Beirut, and have hands on experience in the running and functioning of the hotels industry. I have held a variety of position from being a waiter, commis kitchen, shift manager within the room service department and reception agent. My roles have given me invaluable experience within customer service and dealing with guests from a variety of backgrounds and have improved my confidence skills. I hope to use these experiences and build on them to be a successful member of your team.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Management which has provided me with the essential theory and in depth understanding of the business and hotels industry and has been essential for me to thrive in the different roles I have mentioned previously. Being fluent in 3 languages: Arabic, English and French, both written and verbal has been very helpful to communicate with guests and customers within my roles and is a valuable skill for working within this sector.
My extra-curricular experiences have allowed me to develop my leadership, organisation and teamworking skills and have given me experience in organising large events and campaigns. I am the founder and president of Zayer Association in Lebanon since 2016, and have over 5 years of experience in the charity sector and have been managing over 250 volunteers across 6 areas in Lebanon and 2 international teams in the UK and Abidjan. As part of this role I oversee a large number of teams leading different projects and campaigns as well as the finance and marketing teams. Every year we have various campaigns and projects. I have hands on experience in organising and leading a variety of fundraising and social events as well as overseeing large campaigns with hundreds of volunteers and multiple projects and events. To be successful in this role I have had to ensure I am very organised and efficient with my time as well as have great communication and leadership skills.
As part of my roles at work and within the charity sector it has been crucial to develop good networking and interpersonal skills to succeed. My experience in public speaking at large events, as well as TV interviews and social media, have strengthened my communication and confidence skills. I hope to use these skills to be a successful and confident member of your team.
My different roles within consulting and administration have allowed me to strengthen my admin skills. I am competent in the use of the majority of popular IT systems including Microsoft programmes, Google drives, Adobe photoshop and illustrator as well as computer systems specific to hotels such as Opera. I am keen to learn new skills if needed.

When I was training to be a teacher I had to write a lot of lesson plans. I always wished I had a list of instructional strategies I could go to whenever I needed i.e. am 26 years old based in London and i have my own car for transportation and also i can move fast and give classes online
