About Mary
My name is Maryem (Mary) and I'm from Morocco. I have been teaching English since 2012. I have a degree in Language and Linguistics and the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from IEU, Turkey. I'm a certified Special Educational Needs Teacher with a considerable experience in teaching adults and young learners. I was also awarded a certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2014, but never had the chance to deliver trainings due to my ever increasingly hectic schedule. I'm also a social activist working in the field of supporting Childhood Care and Education. I enjoy teaching in general; however, teaching adults gives me a sense of achievement as I see my students gain more confidence in using the language. Looking forward to seeing you in the course!

All my lessons are taught online. I am qualified to teach all ages of non-native English speakers. My methodology and structure are based on CELTA's. This includes lessons that are text-based presentations of language, test-teach-test, and task-based learning. All of these are based on receptive, productive and language skills. I adapt my lessons to the needs and wants of my students to create fun and interactive lessons that are adequate to the needs and the level of my students.
