About Matthew
I attended Mill Hill School in North London, where I completed A-levels in Latin (a*) English (a*) and History (a) as well as 12 GCSEs (all at a* or a). I am now a first-year Classicist at Peterhouse Cambridge. I have previously taught Latin to A-level, volunteering at a local state school.

I believe that the best way to improve your Latin and Greek quickly is through thorough knowledge of the grammar and syntax of the languages. I would look to promote this with testing as well as helping a student to spot the patterns which make wrote learning easier. Beyond this, reading as much as possible of unadpted text is the next step to fluency
