Hi, I’m Sophie – a Cambridge graduate with a Double First-Class degree in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Neuroscience, both from the University of Cambridge. I am now completing my final year of Medicine, giving me a unique perspective on both the scientific and clinical applications of Natural Sciences.
With over eight years of experience at Cambridge, I have a detailed understanding of the Oxbridge Natural Sciences application process. I specialise in:
Personal statement guidance – crafting clear, well-structured applications that showcase academic curiosity and potential.
Interview preparation – including mock interviews and problem-solving sessions designed to mirror real Cambridge interview questions, encouraging critical thinking and scientific reasoning.
Application mentoring – helping students demonstrate not just knowledge, but also intellectual flexibility and a genuine passion for science.
I also tutor GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and have supervised Cambridge undergraduates in Neuroscience and Pathology. My approach is highly personalised: I adapt to each student’s strengths, foster confidence, and help them tackle challenging ideas with independence and clarity.
