About Sophie
I am currently working as a tutor for various organisations on my grad gap year. I recently completed my music degree at the University of Cambridge with a double first, and am taking up a place at Harvard in 2021. I got 45/45 points in the IB in 2017 and have an active freelance performance career on the recorder and violin. I am an experienced instrumental tutor and can also teach up to grade 8 theory and up to A level/IB academic music.

I aim to keep music fun, exciting, and relevant to the individual. I teach methodically and with strong technical foundations whilst tailoring tuition to the goals of the student, whether that be an exam, a specific piece, or just to enjoy music making.
