I graduated with a first class degree in English from Cambridge University, and with distinction in a Creative Writing MA from UEA.

I create bespoke lesson programmes adapted to each student’s need, with regular reports used to track progress. With younger children especially, I like to use a lot of encouragement and promote positive engagement with exercises and texts, because I’ve found this to be the most productive way to learn.
My lessons are usually 1 hour but this can be adapted to suit the needs of the student - some prefer shorter lessons.
I have tutored for 6 years with three London agencies (Dulwich Tutors, Enjoy Education, U2 Tuition) with a very positive success rate - students have jumped up two grades after a year of tutoring with me.
