About Camilla
I absolutely love sharing my enthusiasm for the ancient world with my students, and believe that studying classical subjects has so much to offer. Regular trips to Italy and Greece keep my knowledge of and passion for the subject very much alive and I'm learning Italian and Spanish myself so know what it's like to be a learner and sometimes get stuck!

My approach is a mixture of traditional techniques and fun activities, and I can draw on my 30 years of experience teaching Classical Civilisation, Latin and Greek at some top independent schools. I offer 1 hour lessons either online or in person in the Stockport area. I've taught and assessed both OCR and WJEC qualifications and examined A level Classical Civilisation for many years, also managing a team of examiners for the World of the Hero paper. Years of experience teaching all ages from 11 upwards make me a friendly, empathetic and approachable tutor.
