About Rosie
I am a historian who graduated from Cambridge in 2020. My dissertation focused on the American historiography of Soviet nationalities policy but I covered a range of topics during my degree, including modern America, modern Britain, empires from the 16thC onwards and the British empire. I currently tutor students due to start Cambridge in 2020 who want extra preparation, but I can also teach A Levels and interview technique.

My teaching methodology is to explain topics as simply as possible. I generally set reading, either from class or additionally, and I then ask the student to break these into themes, as they would do in an essay. We then systematically discuss the themes, and any I can add, to ensure full coverage of the topic and readiness for an exam. When a student wants to go beyond their class work I will set more challenging reading from my university reading list to discuss.
