About Katie
As a recent graduate, I am tutoring full-time and looking to start my career in education, whilst being able to work flexible hours. I am a fun, outgoing, proactive and open-minded individual and my favourite thing about tutoring is seeing my students becoming more and more proud of their own progress.

My approach to tutoring is to encourage as much proactive speaking and writing as possible. I also like to focus on your specific syllabus’ requirements to get you the qualifications you need, as well as teaching the more subtle aspects of the language such as informal phrases and slang.

Katie tutored me in Chemistry, biology and maths during my GCSEs last year. She really helped me understand the content and took time going through things at my pace. I ended up with 7s and 8s which I don’t think I could’ve managed without her.
