About Miriam
I am a TESOL certified teacher based in Central Alberta with native English language skills looking to help you become as successful as possible in your English learning language journey! I completed a 100-hour course and practicum program in TESOL teaching at the Acadia University Language Learning Centre in Nova Scotia, which had many university-aged and adult learners from all over the world. This led to my certification through TESL Canada- I have Canada Standard One certification for teaching as well. Outside of TESOL at Acadia I became a qualified teacher in Nova Scotia for the subjects of Music and Physics, but this past year have been a substitute teacher so I have been meeting a lot of new people and exploring a lot of different schools- this has taught me a lot about different learning styles and attitudes! I have been gradually bettering my second language (Dutch) throughout my life and feel that I understand the difficulties that come with learning another language well.

Details
If the student cancels the lesson less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time the student must pay the tutor a cancellation fee, which is one half of the one hour tutoring rate.
