About MaryJo
I’ve been teaching ESL for the past 18 years to adults at the Government offices of Canada, foreign teenagers and younger children at Kells Academy, and also at various businesses, such as the CBC, etc. I teach online, via telephone, and onsite.

In my classes I use an interactive and authentic teaching approach. My philosophy is to have fun and learn - providing plenty of fun, conversational activities to improve grammatical skills, improve pronunciation, increase vocabulary, and enhance confidence when speaking, as well as improve comprehension and writing. Over the past 18 years, my classes have consisted of university educated adults (government employees and other businesses (mostly) wishing to improve their English skills to work bilingually in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
