I welcome students who are preparing for the RCM Theory, Harmony and History exams as well as students wanting to learn for personal interest. I have taught music theory and history to students on an individual basis and my teaching methods consist of assessing each student's abilities, customizing my lesson plans to suit their goals, and focusing on areas that need improvement. All my previous students have passed their exams on the first attempt.
I am very familiar with the RCM exam curriculum, and have personally achieved Honours for the Level 8 Theory, Levels 9 & 10 History, and Levels 9 & 10 Harmony exams. I can also speak Cantonese, and can teach Cantonese-speaking students as well. My first free lesson will be focused on assessing the student's needs and identifying their academic or personal goals. I welcome students from all backgrounds, offer flexible scheduling and lessons are given via Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. Other video-calling apps or websites may be considered.
