About Neeli
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Biology in May of 2021. Following this, I attended an accelerated Bachelor's in Nursing program in New York City (Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing), which I graduated from in January of 2023 with a 3.75 GPA. I took my NCLEX in March of 2023 and passed on my first try. Since then, I have worked peri-operatively in cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery and procedural units. Throughout college, I worked as a peer tutor. I am passionate about education and love helping others succeed.

When I tutor, I work with how you learn best- I'll reach out beforehand so that I know what you are struggling with. That way, I can prepare to make your time with me count. I focus on making complicated concepts easier to understand. I believe that many people approach nursing and NCLEX prep with the mindset that memorisation is key. I disagree- I believe that a firm understanding of basic concepts that you build on, as well as developing clinical understanding skills, is key. Instead of just explaining concepts, we will discuss them as if we were taking care of a patient to whom that concept applied. I won't just train you to memorise, I will help you to gain understanding and to think like an RN.
