About Rishabh
Rishabh is an acting coach, a trained hypnotherapist and the founder of Acting Sutra. He has trained actors on a 1:1 basis from the Hindi and Tamil film industry and has also trained actors in groups in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and via digital mediums for 6+ years. He combines his study of human behavioral economics and psychology with first principles of acting. His teachings are easy to understand, logical and experiential. He helps students in understanding the 4 most important verticals of camera acting, i.e.- being natural, real, honest and spontaneous.

Hi! If you had a dream but always struggled with your acting or you have done theatre workshops but that has not helped you to become a successful actor in front of the camera, then this workshop is for you.
Let me introduce myself, I am Rishabh Mittal, a professional Acting Coach and founder of 'Acting Sutra'. I have been working with actors from Hindi and Tamil film industry for more than 6 years. At Acting Sutra we have hand held actors from different parts of India to start their acting journey or change their understanding about acting.
My approach is clear, practical and works on a human level. The workshop will cover –
- Why is acting called 'Being' and 'Doing'
- How to visualize a character and understand it's inner reality
- Internal stimulus vs External stimulus
- Difference between Stage acting and Camera acting
- You will learn if your acting is real or if it's mimicry
- How to make your audience feel an emotion
- You will record an audition and receive feedback by the mentor
- What to do when you have to perform a character in a script
- What happens in an audition and how to find professional opportunities
- Exercises for focus, breathing and voice
- Q&A session
Outcome of the workshop -
The participant will develop confidence, self belief and can start their acting career. They will learn how to be professional, give auditions using techniques and tools of getting into a character by using emotions, body and voice to give a great performance.
