About Emily
My name is Emily and I'm a senior at Carnegie Mellon University (Class of 2023) in Pittsburgh, PA. I study statistics and machine learning but I have always had a love for literature and analytical writing, which have helped me achieve high scores on several standardized tests. I learned various techniques on my own and from others while preparing for these tests myself and I'm looking to give back by tutoring in my free time!

- My standardized test preparation targets the material and structure of each exam so students can learn how to work quickly, efficiently, and confidently in timed environments under pressure.
- I begin working with students using techniques that I personally used to obtain perfect/near-perfect scores on standardized exams, but as the student and I work together, I adapt my teaching methods to best suit the student.
- My lessons are suitable for anyone preparing for the standardized exams that are required by some undergraduate and graduate programs (SAT, GRE)!
