About Gemma
Hi, I'm Gemma I am a preschool teacher (EYE) from Barcelona.
Since I was a child I grew up speaking Catalan and Spanish at home and school with my family and friends. It's a beautiful language that not all people know and I will be so proud to teach you Catalan.
I love teaching and I really enjoy showing my native language to people to like to know it. Don't be afraid to do mistakes, is a good way to improve yourself. As Queta said (a Catalan character) Parla sense vergonya, parla en llibertat i si t'equivoques, torna a començar!

Based on my experience, the most important to know a new language is speaking. My classes are focused on speaking (vocabulary and conversation) and listening.
Sometimes when I teach a new vocabulary I like to do it with songs and games.
Don't worry about the grammar and readings, we are going too :)
