About Himansha

I wish to teach English because I see it as a powerful tool for expression, opportunity, and connection. Language has the ability to shape confidence and open doors, and I find it deeply rewarding to help learners develop the skills they need to communicate clearly and effectively.

Through my experiences in teaching and public speaking, I have seen how building strong communication skills can transform a student’s self-belief and participation, both inside and outside the classroom. This motivates me to create learning spaces where students feel encouraged to express themselves without hesitation.

Being CELTA-certified, I am particularly drawn to teaching English through interactive and communicative methods that make learning practical and engaging. I enjoy guiding students as they progress from understanding the basics to using the language independently and confidently.

Ultimately, I want to teach English not just as a subject, but as a life skill—one that empowers individuals to share their ideas, access new opportunities, and engage with the world more fully.

About the lesson

As a CELTA-certified teacher, my methodology is rooted in a communicative and student-centered approach to learning. I focus on creating interactive lessons where students actively use the language rather than passively absorb it. My training has equipped me to design structured lessons with clear objectives, engaging activities, and effective feedback.

I emphasize real-life communication by incorporating speaking-focused tasks, pair and group work, and practical scenarios that help students build fluency and confidence. I carefully monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt my teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and levels.

My approach also includes strong lesson planning, classroom management, and the use of elicitation techniques to encourage students to think critically and participate actively. Overall, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with language and developing their communication skills.
