About Rory
Currently finishing my MA in Actor/Performer training at Rose Bruford College. I graduated from King's College London with a degree in Comparative Literature in 2021. I qualified as a CELTA teacher last year. I am an organised, focused and relaxed individual. I like writing and learning about English because I enjoy it for its own merits. I am a lifelong reader. I would seek to inspire the same level of passion and enjoyment in spoken and written language as I have for it myself.

I learnt how to plan and deliver lessons through my CELTA qualification. I take a student-led approach, adapting my aims and approach to the ambitions of the student. Ideally, lessons would run 1-2 hours. Although, there is room for flexibility around that. I undertook the intensive face-to-face CELTA qualification last year. I have many years' experience taking part in writing groups, offering feedback, and have taken several short courses on how to write short screenplays. The lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their English. Whether they are starting completely fresh up to those who already possess an advanced level, there are always ways you can find to improve.
