About Natasha

Hello! I’m an experienced English teacher who has worked with children, teenagers, and adults, helping learners improve in both general and business English. I love getting to know each individual student and creating lessons that feel like natural conversations, tailored to their goals. I originally trained in the arts with a Master’s degree in Curatorial Practice and Art Conservation, and alongside English teaching, I’m passionate about dancing, art, hiking, camping, cooking, and learning new things. Having lived in Southampton, Bath, Glasgow, Lyon, and now near Lille, I bring an international perspective to my lessons. Since moving to France, I’ve also been learning French myself, which gives me empathy for language learners and allows me to use French as a support tool in lessons when needed. For me, teaching English isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary—it’s about building confidence and connection. Since starting my teaching, I have discovered that English is such an important tool for business, travel, and worldwide communication, and I love helping students unlock new opportunities through language. About the lesson

I am Natasha, a native English, Masters level and CELTA qualified English Teacher from Southampton, UK and I am currently living in the North of France. I have experience working with children ages 4+ teaching basic English vocabulary and phonics, teaching English to young adults from around the world and General/Business English to employees in recognised companies such as Framatome and Cognizant. I work with each individual to put together an English learning programme suitable for them and their specific learning goals whether that be increasing general conversational fluency, grammar and writing or preparing for school exams or exams such as TOEIC and LILLATE. My teaching approach is flexible, and I am keen to make language learning fun, inclusive and engaging through conversational exercises and interactive games - I want our lessons together to be something you look forward to each week! My students are free to choose the length of their lessons. Generally I suggest 1hr / 1.5hr but I am also more than happy to deliver 30 minute conversation/ game based sessions, or longer 2 -3 hour sessions if this suits better.
