About Anita
I come from a small, remote town in Russia — Irkutsk. When I was 13, I developed a dream to study abroad, and that’s when my close relationship with English truly began. At 16, I scored 7.0 on the IELTS exam and was successfully admitted to Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia — all through my own efforts, starting from level 0. At the same time, I started helping my peers and younger students at school improve their English. Seeing how my knowledge and guidance helped others achieve their goals inspired me to take teaching more seriously, and I went on to earn my TEFL/TESOL certification. Because I’ve been through this process myself, I know how challenging learning a new language can be — and I’m here to guide you through that journey.

I use the communicative approach in my teaching. This means we’ll learn language — including grammar and vocabulary — through real conversations that you might encounter outside the classroom.
During lessons, we’ll work with relevant textbooks featuring engaging topics and effective exercises published by Cambridge. In addition, some lessons will be based on authentic materials such as articles, YouTube videos, and interviews to make learning more natural and practical.
I have 3 years of teaching experience, a TEFL/TESOL qualification, and more than 10 satisfied students. Currently, I teach General English at intermediate and upper-intermediate levels for learners aged 14 to 40.
I offer 60- and 90-minute sessions (the length of each lesson is flexible) and personalize the program for each student or group individually.
