About John
From 2016-2020 I was a lecturer at Chang An University, Xi'an. I taught English for Academic Purposes and IELTS exam preparation. After that, I started my own business where I help non-native English speakers advance their careers with English, and I'm still doing that now. On other platforms I have over 3000 tutoring hours.

To improve your English communication skills, it's best to start with pronunciation. I will teach you all of the most important pronunciation techniques for clear speech and we can focus on any problem sounds you might have.
Then we can work on building your vocabulary and fluency with speaking and self-study exercises, focusing only on topics that are most useful to you.
As we progress, your overall grammatical accuracy will improve, and we will also tackle any persisting grammar problems as they arise.
