About Angelo
Hi there! My name is Angelo and I would love to be your English teacher :) I am a (half-Italian) native speaker from Pennsylvania, a state in the USA near New York City. I have a love for languages and currently speak 13 of them to various levels, including Italian, Russian, Spanish, Greek, German, Dutch, Chinese, Arabic, Luxembourgish, French, Icelandic, and Japanese (in addition to my native English).
I have strong experience as an English teacher. I have roughly five years of formal teaching experience (in online formats), but many additional years as a language exchange partner with many English learners, honing my abilities in grammar, accent, and many more skills.

I am a relaxed teacher who will push you to interact and use the language so you can build confidence and hone your skills. I am most interested and trained in speaking and listening training, so you will benefit especially from my lessons in accent training and speech patterns. Of course, I am always open to regular conversation practice, providing corrections and vocabulary words throughout the lesson :) I also hold a deep knowledge of the grammar of my own language, and my explanations will be clear so that you can grasp the grammar in the quickest time possible.
If you are interested, we can make use of material such as videos in order to learn the culture along with the language!

Generally in my lessons we will begin with a brief warmup of conversation before jumping into the main things that you want to work on. I will tailor my lessons specifically to your needs, whether that be accent and pronunciation, grammar, or confidence in conversation. I mold the feel of my lessons to my students, so that you can feel as comfortable as possible in the lesson and overcome any difficulties or anxiety you might feel about the language.

$54 per hour for AMERICAN ENGLISH ACCENT TRAINING focusing on mouth movement and points of pronunciation
$48 per hour for GRAMMAR AND WRITING LESSONS formally teaching grammar and writing/checking compositions
