About Lucía
My name is Lucía, I come from Sevilla and I would love to become your Spanish teacher. I studied English Translation in Spain. However, after working as an intern at a language school I realised my vocation was, without doubt, teaching. This is the reason why I focused my career towards education and took a master’s degree in Teaching Languages in Secondary School, and afterwards, I specialised in teaching Spanish through a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have experience teaching Spanish in Slovakia and English and French in Spain so, as you can see, languages are my cup of tea. I understand the world as a globalised place where we need to be tolerant and respectful, and this cultural awareness, in my opinion, can only be achieved through communication.

I am passionate about my mother tongue and I would love to share this passion with you through a communicative methodology that will lead you to speak Spanish in a few weeks. My main goal is that my students are able to have successful basic exchanges in everyday contexts. We will use different resources such as traditional books, newspaper articles, infographies, templates and a wide range of websites with the purpose of learning in a fun way. The four language skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading) will be integrated in the whole set of contents. From beginners to more advanced students who want to improve their command of Spanish, you are all welcome!

Perfect! Lucía is an excellent teacher. She tailors the classes to the individual’s needs and creates a great rapport. There is a mixture of teaching methods from conversations, grammatical exercises, aural exercises, reading and writing. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish!

Lucia has taught me so much in these past months. When I first started I had an open mind and knew it would be tough to learn a new language, but Lucia has really done a great effort to help me learn Spanish. You really won't regret it. If you're unsure if she's a good teacher, just try one lesson with her and see for yourself!
