About Abby
Hi there! My name is Abby and I am a certified TEFL instructor with over 5 years of experience. I am passionate about education and have worked with various nonprofits and schools to provide quality internationally-focused education to students all over the world. Most recently, I taught EFL at the elementary level in Seoul, South Korea. I have also taught English to North Korean Refugees at the adult level, an experience that helped hone my cultural sensitivity and professionalism. I strive to encourage students to enjoy learning English and make quick progress in their studies.

I have a deep understanding of the value of learning multiple languages and strive to keep my classes personalized, fun, and engaging. I find that 50-60 minutes is the ideal lesson length, although I am flexible and experienced in teaching lessons ranging from 40-180 minutes. I have a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification from the London College of Teachers and Trainers and have worked both in the U.S.A. and in South Korea. I have worked at the elementary, middle, and adult level, and I am excited to get to know your needs and wishes as a student!
