About Grace
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English & Cultural Studies and Professional Writing & Publishing from Curtin University, and I love to express my creativity.
I enjoy classic literature, live theatre, folk music, visual art and poetry. I’m a published freelance writer and theatre reviewer, and have worked as a communications consultant for local art galleries and news stations in Australia.
I’m also a trained editor, and have contributed to both print and online media publications. My passion for the English language runs deep, and I’m excited to share it with my students and help them further their understanding and fluency!

Along with my double Bachelor's Degree, I am certified through the TEFL Org's Premier and Teaching English Online courses. I have taught English Literacy to students at both primary and secondary education levels.
My methodology centres around respect and patience. I develop a rapport with my students that makes communicating through a language barrier (and a virtual barrier!) more comfortable and familiar.
I understand that each student has a different ability level with their own preference for learning, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student. Taking the time to discuss their individual goals, and outlining how we can work together to achieve them, ensures they get the most out of me as a tutor.
My online lessons are 45 minutes in length for students aged 12 and above, with English abilities ranging from beginner through to proficient.
