About Dr Jennifer
I am a dedicated elementary educator with over 15 years of experience supporting students in grades K–5. My career has focused on helping children with a wide range of learning needs, including autism, behavior challenges, and other learning differences. I am passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every child feels safe, capable, and motivated to grow.
I believe that confidence is the foundation of academic success. My goal is to help students recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. Watching students gain confidence, independence, and pride in their progress is the most rewarding part of my work.
I love partnering with families to help children build the skills they need to succeed both in school and in life.

My tutoring sessions are personalized, engaging, and designed to meet each student exactly where they are. Every lesson is carefully planned using research-based strategies, hands-on activities, and interactive learning to keep students motivated and successful. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, provide clear modeling and guided practice, and celebrate progress along the way.
Lessons focus on strengthening foundational skills in reading, writing, and math while also building organization, focus, and self-confidence. For students who need additional support, I incorporate strategies that promote positive behavior, self-regulation, and emotional growth so they feel safe, capable, and ready to learn.
Each session is paced to reduce frustration, increase confidence, and help students leave feeling proud of what they accomplished. My goal is for students to not only improve academically, but to develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed independently in the classroom and in everyday life.
