About GILBERT
I'm a graduate from the University of New Orleans with a degree in English Literature. I've been an avid reader since my High School days. After graduation,I went back to earn my certification in teaching and have seven years experience in two High Schools. I've found reading great literature to be the best thing one can do to strengthen one's self and come to a higher understanding of life in general.

My teaching approach is to explain the relevance of what is being studied and compare it with something relevant to our present times. For example, if we're studying catcher in the Rye, I'll try to think of a current tv show or movie that a young person might relate to.
