About Sean
I have 6 years of experience working as an English teacher. I have raised oral expression and fluency from level A1 to C1 and helped students achieve a band 7 on the IELTS academic writing tests. I have taught over 2500 students aged 3-12 through online teaching platforms using an applied linguistics approach. I have taught over 150 adults in China via another online teaching platform for both academic and general English purposes. I have also helped students to understand English idioms and increase engagement level and excitement for young learners in English through play based learning.

My teaching methods is student centered. I make a a learning plan based on your individual needs. Then we work together to meet these goals through frequent checks for understanding and running records of progress. Making a connection with students is my main goal. In my experience, the more willing a student is to enagage with the teacher, the more likely they are to improve their skills.
