About Katrina
Hi, I’m Katrina and I’m a certified tutor with a TEFL certificate and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. I specialize in tutoring teens and adults on a number of topics including English and Graphic Design. I’m also an expert in tutoring study skills and test prep techniques. With my years of experience tutoring high school and college-aged students, I’m confident in helping my students reach their academic goals. I’m an interactive tutor and enjoy using technology to teach and make learning fun and meaningful.

My theory in teaching is if I can teach at a very basic level, I can teach anybody. As a result, I am very explicit in my teaching. Along with that, I try to personalize the lesson. I build on top of what students already know and provide examples that are relatable to them. I do this by getting to know them both as a student and a person. My desire is to help others succeed both academically and personally.
